A 501(c)(3) Organization Actively Involved in Attaining Equality Respect for All People.

In 2009 OC Pride returned with a picnic in the park; with an attendance of over 500, it unified the LGBT community and gave people who'd been hurt by proposition 8 a sense of belonging. In 2010 and 2011, OC Pride was held at Hidden Valley in Irvine (by Verizon Amphitheater); with over 3,000 people, a main stage of amazing entertainers and speakers, a non-stop dance tent, a lively kids corner, and

over 80 booths and vendors, this was a Pride Festival to be proud of. In 2012 OC Pride took it to the streets in downtown Santa Ana for another wonderful day of celebration. This change was well received, with over 10,000 members of the LGBT community and our allies coming to experience a new feel while also maintaining many of the qualities that make our event so unique. This year, OC Pride is celebrating "Color Our World with Pride" with an entire week of celebration! 2015 OC Pride Week: July 27 to August 2!

🎉 Exciting news, OC Pride family! Please join us in welcoming our newest board member, Sarah!

Sarah has been a cornerstone of our community for nearly 5 years as a volunteer, spending the last 3 as Stage Manager for both the Pride Stage and VIP section. Before joining us, she honed her craft stage managing drag shows at Velvet Lounge and productions at local community theatres.

On the board, Sarah will be diving into our Entertainment Department, working closely with all of our incredible community acts to help bring the most unforgettable Pride experience to life for everyone who walks through our gates. We are so lucky to have her! 🌈✨

This morning, OC Pride's Executive Director Bryan joined the OC Pride team at the Pride Flag Raising ceremony, a meaningful tradition that kicks off Pride Month by flying the Pride flag over City Hall.

Bryan had the honor of speaking alongside local leaders and community advocates who continue to show up for our community. It was a powerful reminder of why OC Pride's work connecting, uplifting, and celebrating LGBTQIA+ voices across Orange County matters so much.

"Pride is about so much more than any one aspect of identity. It's a celebration of how far our community has come: winning marriage equality, securing basic human rights, rallying together during the AIDS crisis when a government we fund chose to look away because it labeled a human health crisis a "gay disease." It's about the ongoing work of reducing su***de rates among LGBTQIA+ youth and showing people that they belong in this world, even when so many others are determined to tell them otherwise.

Pride brings our community together to honor those hard-won triumphs and recharge for the fights still ahead."

The City of Santa Ana's post about this morning's ceremony is unfortunately being flooded with hateful, anti-LGBTQIA+ comments. Head over to their Instagram and show them some love. Let them know how much it means to have a city that shows up for its community. Our voices are louder together. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

She's back. And she's HUNGRY. 🩸🏳️‍🌈

We're teaming up with the LGBTQ Center OC's Youth Group and The Frida Cinema for a Jennifer's Body screening and fundraiser supporting the Teen Pride Space at the 2026 OC Pride Festival, a dedicated space dreamed up and organized by OC's LGBTQ youth.

A portion of every ticket goes toward funding a festival experience where q***r teens can truly belong.

Today, we join the sports world in mourning the loss of a true pioneer. Jason Collins, the first openly gay athlete to play in any of the four major North American sports leagues, passed away at 47 after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Jason didn't just play the game. He changed it. With grace and bravery, he opened doors for LGBTQ+ athletes everywhere and reminded all of us that being your true self is the greatest act of courage.

As we celebrate Pride here in Orange County, we carry his legacy with us. Rest in power, Jason. 🌈
