As the school year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible experiences our BioMed students at Century High School had this year!
From visiting leading industry partners like Masimo, Edwards Lifesciences, and Johnson & Johnson, to exploring human anatomy through a cadaver lab experience at Southern California University of Health Sciences, our students had the opportunity to step outside the classroom and into the world of healthcare and biomedical sciences.
These hands-on experiences helped connect our students with industry professionals, deepen their passion for healthcare, and prepare them for their future careers. To celebrate an amazing year, our seniors wrapped things up with a special luncheon and received their BioMed stoles in recognition of all their hard work and accomplishments.
Cheers to the Class of 2026 — the future of healthcare is bright! 🎉🩺🔬

HSI Scholarship Awards Dinner — A Night of Celebration! The HSI Scholarship Awards Dinner was a beautiful evening dedicated to celebrating our incredible student scholars. Each student was individually recognized for their hard work, leadership, and commitment to their future goals. The room was filled with pride as families, educators, and supporters came together to honor their achievements. From the moment students walked across the stage to the applause that followed each name, the night highlighted what makes our community so special: students who strive for excellence and a network of people who believe in their success.
Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and partners who helped make the evening meaningful and memorable.Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients. Your dedication inspires us, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. .

We recently hosted a special Runners‑Up Kindness Lunch to honor students whose Acts of Kindness made a meaningful impact on our campus community. Each student received a $25 gift card, enjoyed a pizza lunch, and heard an inspiring message from Pat Danel Carreras of the Anthony Michael Acts of Kindness Foundation.

Pat shared a powerful reminder that kindness is contagious, deeply needed, and capable of changing lives. She thanked our students for the compassion they’ve already shown and encouraged them to continue spreading kindness wherever they go.

We are so proud of these students and the example they set every day.
