Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina Mission Statement: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those in greatest need, to realize their full potential.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina is dedicated to serving Lee, Chatham, and Harnett County youth from the ages of 6-18. From homework assistance to games, athletics, workshops for our young men and women, to drug prevention programs, the Club offers young people a range of fun, productive, and learning activities. The Clubs are open each day serving as Virtual Student Club Hubs providing

WiFi and a safe place for remote learning students to login and complete their work while schools are closed as well as providing after school programming from:
7:30-5:30 (OT Sloan Site)
7:30-5:30 (Robin Paige Club Site) and
7:30-5:30 (Wren Family Center Site)

Research has proven that between the hours of 3:00-6:00 pm, juvenile crime is on the rise. Why not send your children to a safe place during those hours?

Today, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Carolina participated in Governor Josh Stein’s Rural Listening Session, where community leaders from across the region gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing rural North Carolina.

Our CEO, Dr. Fallon Brewington, shared the importance of investing in youth development, workforce readiness, support for working families, and the sustainability of community-based organizations that serve as critical resources in rural communities.

At BGCCC, we see firsthand how access to quality after-school and summer programming impacts academic success, workforce preparation, and family stability. We believe that strong communities are built by investing in young people and creating pathways for them to reach their full potential.

We appreciate the Governor’s Office and Secretary Jeffery Smythe for creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue and for listening to the voices of those working every day to strengthen rural North Carolina.

Together, we can ensure that every young person—regardless of their zip code—has the opportunity to succeed.

Today, we proudly recognized our amazing club members who have worked hard all year and were promoted to their next grade level. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to their education deserve to be celebrated, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of them! 👏🎓

A huge thank you to the Chatham County Sheriff's Office and the Pittsboro Police Department for joining us in celebrating our youth and helping make this day so special. Your continued support means so much to our members and staff! 💙🚔

The fun didn't stop there! Members enjoyed cooling off on an awesome water slide from M&M Inflatables, participated in a club-wide water fight, and enjoyed a delicious cookout with friends. To top it all off, everyone was treated to a sweet and refreshing treat from Jeremiah's Italian Ice! 💦🌭🍔🍧

As we close out another successful school year, we want our members to know just how proud we are of all they have accomplished. Their hard work, growth, and achievements have been inspiring to watch.

Now it's time to put the books away, make memories, and enjoy some well-deserved SUMMER TIME FUN! ☀️😎
