🏈💚💛 WHAT A DAY TO BE REAL RITE.

A lot of our Real Rite athletes had their Middle School Jamboree yesterday, and being able to see these young ones out there competing, growing and chasing their dreams together was something special. 💯

We didn’t get pictures of everybody yesterday. We missed our West Lee, and East Lee athletes, but we were able to capture this moment with some of our San-Lee athletes, coaches, families and a few of our future rising stars. 🫡🏈

And THAT’S what makes moments like this mean so much.

Watching them grow.
Watching the hard work start to show.
Watching them overcome obstacles.
Watching them continue to pursue the dream.
And watching them do it TOGETHER, surrounded by family, coaches and people who believe in them.

What more could we ask for?

This is bigger than football.

This is about the relationships, the lessons, the brotherhood and the foundation we’re building long before Friday nights come around.

From the little ones just getting started to the young men beginning their next chapter…

The season is already underway, but there’s still time to get your son in the mix.

Great way to open the season. Now it’s on to next week. 🤝🏈

To the Bull City Chargers, thank you for the hospitality. It’s always a vibe when we’re in Durham and y’all always make us feel at home.

Thank you to the refs and security for being on point and helping everything run smooth.

And most importantly, thank you to our parents and coaches for your continued devotion to our youth, our teams and our community.

🏈 YOUTH SPORTS IS SO MUCH MORE THAN TOSSING A BALL AROUND. 💚💛

For some of these kids, THIS FIELD IS THEIR ESCAPE.

It’s where they get a break from whatever may be happening at home, at school, in their neighborhood, or even inside their own minds.

It’s where they find FRIENDS. FAMILY. CONFIDENCE. STRUCTURE. DISCIPLINE. PURPOSE.

And most importantly… a place where they feel like THEY BELONG. ❤️

The truth is, we never fully know what a child is carrying when they step onto that field.

That’s why we have to FIGHT FOR THEM.

Fight for their fields.
Fight for their programs.
Fight for resources.
Fight for opportunities.
Fight for the coaches and volunteers willing to pour into them.
Fight to keep giving them somewhere PRODUCTIVE to show up, compete, learn, grow and simply BE KIDS.

Because every kid we keep connected to something positive is another kid with somewhere to GO, something to DO, somebody expecting them to SHOW UP and people reminding them that THEIR FUTURE MATTERS.

So when you see us advocating hard for youth sports, understand…

IT WAS NEVER JUST ABOUT FOOTBALL. 🏈

We’re building confidence.
We’re building relationships.
We’re building young men and women.
We’re building COMMUNITY.

And ultimately…

WE’RE BUILDING THE FUTURE. 💚💛

That’s why the work matters.

🚨 REAL RITE FAMILY | SEPTEMBER 2ND 🏈📣💚💛

On Wednesday, September 2nd at 5:00 PM, there will be a Middle School Jamboree at Lee County High School.

WE WILL NOT HAVE PRACTICE THAT DAY.

Instead, we’d love for our Real Rite families and players to come out, dress up, represent and SUPPORT! 🫡

This one is special for us.

We have a lot of our former and current players and cheerleaders who will be on those sidelines and in the action representing their middle schools. It’s dope watching these kids transition , and even better knowing many of them are STILL rocking with us while playing middle school ball. 💛

Some of these boys have lined up beside each other for YEARS.

Some of these young ladies have cheered beside each other for YEARS.

Now they’ll put on different school colors, line up across from one another and compete…

Then when that whistle blows, they’re right back BROTHERS & SISTERS. 🤝🏾

THAT’S what this is supposed to be about.

We still have plenty of work ahead preparing these kids for the high school level, but moments like this are small reminders that THE PROCESS IS WORKING.

Come out and support these kids!
