September recap 🍂
Even through the intense heatwave, God is working 💪

We want to extend a massive thank you to all of our amazing volunteers. You have braved the heat to help us build, and continue to show up week after week to love on our animals and tend to the plants. You are the hands and feet of Jesus here. We could not do this ministry without your servant hearts!

Grab a quiet moment, listen to this soft melody, and celebrate what God is doing through this community.

Every tree, every vine, and every green leaf reflects the abundance of God’s creation. Today, we are sharing that abundance with the beautiful creatures under our care at our farm ministry.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 104 that all creatures look to the Lord to give them their food at the proper time. When He opens His hand, they are satisfied with good things. Watching our animals enjoy these simple tree and vine trimmings is a beautiful, living reminder of that truth.

Nothing in God's kingdom goes to waste. What looks like simple garden clearing to us is a sweet blessing and a feast for them. We are so grateful for the opportunity to steward this land and care for the animals God has entrusted to us.

Thank you for walking alongside our farm ministry. We pray this reminds you today of how deeply the Creator cares for all of His creation—including you.

We are so blessed by this community.

So many of you showed up in the heat yesterday, rolled up your sleeves, and poured so much love into taking care of this land and our animals.
As an added blessing and long awaited answer to prayer, we finally had our very first worship on the farm. I can’t even begin to tell you how long we’ve been praying for this. Singing praises together out in the open surrounded by everything God is building here, was such a blessing.

I’ll be transparent, we are still grieving the loss of our friend Erin, deeply. Yet yesterday proved that joy is not the lack of pain. It is finding God's hand and holding onto each other when it hurts.

To everyone who sweated with us, prayed with us, or supported us from afar, thank you.

Our page has been quiet this past week, because we have been grieving, processing, and navigating the devastating loss of our beloved friend, sister in Christ, and farm class teacher, Erin Gardener. We have waited to post this because the reality of her absence is simply so painful to put into words.

Erin was a bright light in our ministry. She loved deeply, taught passionately, and left an undeniable impact on every life she touched. As we try to wrap our minds around a world without her, our hearts break especially for her two beautiful children, June and Cody.

In this season of heavy grief, we are reminded of why God gave us community.

In Mark 2, we see the story of four friends who were desperate to get a paralyzed man to Jesus. The walk was long, the streets were crowded, and the house was packed. But they were committed. They even dug a hole through a mud roof just to lower him down to Christ's feet.

That is what biblical community looks like. Life can be hard, overwhelming, and complicated. Doing life together means living in a community committed to carrying each other’s mats.

Throughout life, our personal “mats” are filled with heavy things—grief, anxiety, and heartbreak. We are all carrying something, but scripture reminds us we shouldn't do it alone. Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Right now, our ministry family is committed to carrying the mat for Erin’s family. We want you to know that if you are mourning, hurting, or feeling overwhelmed, this community is here for you. We are here to pray together, cry together, and lift each other up just as 1 Thessalonians 5:11 commands us to do.

Let us love like Erin did, and let us carry one another toward the healing arms of Jesus.

Mothers are quiet anchors, the first example of what unconditional love actually looks like in practice and the most powerful form of devotion. They are the ones who teach you that vulnerability and power can coexist in the same moment. That real strength isn't loud. It's steady, present and faithful. A mother will go to war for you and never once ask for credit.
It's easy for the world to see the nurturing but how often does it see the warfare underneath it. There are battles she fights that we don't even know about- the interceding, the protecting, the covering. The standing in gaps that others may have missed. And she won't tell you about most of it because that's not why she does it.
Mothers nurture dreams and heal wounds, they move mountains with quiet determination. They carry the weight of everyone around them and somehow still make it look like love instead of Labor. There's nothing more powerful than someone who loves fiercely, trusts her intuition faithfully, and holds space without judgment.
Happy Mother's Day to the ones who give without expectation and love without limits. To the ones who covered us before we even knew we needed covering. God sees you in the lives you've quietly shaped. You are living proof that your love was never wasted not for a single moment. Wishing you all a blessed mother's day ♡
