UPDATE: Ike has found a short-term foster home! 🎉
He is safe and cozy until Friday, October 16th, but he will need a new place to go by then.
His current foster parent has some amazing things to share about him:
• Great energy balance: Once he gets over the initial excitement of exploring a new place, he calms down beautifully.
• Perfect roommate: He lays down quietly when it is downtime, but he is always ready for a good, long play session when it's playtime.
• Dog-friendly: He absolutely loves other dogs and is doing fantastic with his current foster sister!

🚨 CRITICAL RESCUE EMERGENCY: WE ARE OVERWHELMED & NEED HUGS & HOMES NOW! 🚨
Our rescue is at absolute breaking point. We have a massive influx of dogs needing immediate help, and we cannot do this alone. If you have ever thought about fostering or adopting, NOW IS THE TIME. We are desperately seeking immediate fosters and forever homes to save these sweet souls.

💔 IMMEDIATE FOSTERS NEEDED (RIVERSIDE/HEMET AREA):

• The Forgotten Shelter Boy (1.5 Years, Male): This poor stray has been sitting unnoticed in a Hemet shelter for 19 days. He completely slipped under our radar, and HE NEEDS OUT NOW. Location: Hemet Again, without a foster or place to go we can't help him.

Baldwin Park Shelter Male 4 year old found as a stray. He is due out on the 13th. Can anyone foster? If we can't get him he most likely will be red listed pretty quickly.

• Alfie (7 Months, Weimaraner Mix): The absolute life of the party! He is a social, happy-go-lucky puppy. Too young to be neutered yet, so he will adopt out under a neuter contract. Currently fostered in Glendora. 🐾 https://post.rescueme.org/26-09-27-00080

• ADOPTED TODAY by his transporter!! Thank you Francis!!! Blue (3 Years, Male, Neutered): A gorgeous boy who just endured a long trip to the Bay Area, only to be returned because he cannot live with cats (contrary to what we were told). • Citizen aka Carson (3 Years, Male): A resilient former shelter boy who has been waiting patiently with us...A really nice boy who originally came out of the shelter with some minor leash reactivity. Because he has been with us for several months, we invested in his future and put him through extensive professional training. Dallas (Male): The ultimate love bug—if you are a woman! He originally arrived with his buddy Declan (who was quickly adopted), but Dallas has a clear aversion to men. He is fantastic with other dogs and loves a good play session. He will do best in a single-woman home—perhaps with a lady who would love an incredibly loyal companion to make her feel protected and safe while alone. Solution Found!!!!! Blue was picked up today to start the next phase of his journey. He’s already scheduled for a consultation on revision of Cherry Eye…. Prayers for a nice new home and good surgical outcome!!! He’s fostered in Santa Barbara.

🚨 PLEASE STOP SCROLLING, WE BEG OF YOU! Blue is back, and his feline roommates are packing his bags. 🚨
Yes, it’s us again. We are officially as tired of writing these posts as you are of reading them, but our sweet boy Blue desperately needs a miracle (and a chauffeur).
Blue thought he found his happily-ever-after in the Santa Rosa / Ukiah area, but he has one major flaw: he loves cats. Like, really loves them. It’s a stage-five-clinger situation, and the resident cats have officially voted him off the island. To add to his dramatic week, he also has a mild case of bilateral Cherry Eye that needs medical attention.
We need to get him back down to SoCal (Santa Clarita / Lancaster area) before he gets evicted by a bunch of angry felines. Here is how you can save our sanity and Blue's couch-surfing career:
🐾 How You Can Save the Day:
• 🏠 The Local Pit Stop: We need an immediate, temporary foster in the Santa Rosa/Ukiah area to house this angel until we can get him on the road.
• 🚗 The SoCal Chauffeur: Driving from NorCal to North LA anytime soon? Blue promises to be the perfect co-pilot. He won't touch the radio, he doesn't critique your driving, and he sleeps 95% of the trip.
• 🛋️ The SoCal Recovery Couch: If you are in SoCal and can foster him, you can save him from a boarding kennel. You just need to be willing to chauffeur him to and from his eye surgery (we are looking for a local soft tissue surgeon now).

🚨 WEST L.A. VOLUNTEERS: CALLING ALL CHAUFFEURS FOR A VERY IMPORTANT LUG TRANSPORT!!!

🚨We have a massive transport mission on Wednesday the 30th, and our VIP (Very Important Pup), Blue, has an actual plane to catch. Yes, a plane. He is moving on up! ✈️

The Flight Details: Wheels up at 9:30 AM sharp out of Redlands.

Dilemma:Blue is currently living his best foster life in West LA (near Overland & Santa Monica Blvd). To beat the legendary LA traffic and make his flight, he needs to roll out around 6:30 AM–7:00 AM.

The Ask: anyone already planning an early morning commute Heading East? 🌅 Even if you can only get him part of the way, every single mile counts! We are driving all the way from Riverside to LA to grab him, so any mileage you can shave off our odometer saves our sanity (and our gas tanks). We know a cross-county sunrise trek is a long shot, but we gotta try!

The VIP Passenger: Blue is a 2-year-old, big, happy, lug-headed Weimaraner. He spent most of his early life trapped in a crate because his previous family "didn't have time." But not anymore! He’s boarding a Pilots and Paws flight to W**e Country, where he has 20 acres waiting for him to sprint, sniff, and live like the majestic goofball he is. Let’s get this boy to his upgrade!📧

Update!!! Even better than foster he is being adopted!!! 😚

ONCE AGAIN A FOSTER IS NEEDED!
We need your help immediately. We have a 2-year-old neutered male named Blue in the Alhambra area who needs a foster home—or a foster-to-adopt situation —before we can officially take him into our program.

Blue’s Profile & Stats

Basics: 2 years old, neutered, current on all vaccines, and fully housebroken.

Training: Crate trained and has had minor obedience training. He walks very well on a leash and knows how to give "high fives!"

Personality: He is an indoor dog who loves cuddling, chewing on pig ears, and bonding closely with his humans. He grew up with kids who are now just too busy with school activities to exercise him.

Behavior: When meeting new people, he might bark slightly at first, but he does not jump on visitors.

Other Animals: He currently lives with a male Miniature Poodle and does well with cats and other small animals.

Why He is Being Surrendered

Blue’s current owner works very long hours, leaving him crated for 6 to 8 hours a day. He does not do well when left in a crate for such long stretches, so he needs a situation where he won't be confined for extended periods.
