Our Leadership Academy girls recently enjoyed a beautiful Paddle for Peace Sunset Hike at Mission Trails, made possible through the generous support of The Harvey Family Foundation. 🌅

The evening gave our girls space to slow down, connect with one another, enjoy nature, and build relationships outside of our regular sessions.

Experiences like this are possible because of donors and community partners who believe in creating meaningful opportunities for young women to grow in confidence, connection, and leadership.

Thank you, The Harvey Foundation, for investing in our girls and helping make moments like this possible. 💜

Last night at the F.A.N.C.Y. Leadership Academy, we focused on Finding Your Voice and helping our girls understand how to confidently communicate who they are, what they bring to the table, and what makes them unique.

The girls practiced creating their own 30 to 60 second elevator pitches, building skills they can use in school, interviews, networking, college, and future career opportunities. This directly builds on the Academy’s focus on confidence, self-advocacy, leadership, and speaking up.

Because finding your voice is more than learning what to say. It’s learning to believe that what you have to say matters. 💕

Access changes lives.

The next generation of F.A.N.C.Y. is getting ready! 💕✨

We recently wrapped up interviews for our 2026–2027 F.A.N.C.Y. Leadership Academy, and we are so excited about the young ladies stepping into this next chapter with us.

These interviews are more than a step in the process. They’re an opportunity for girls to share their goals, their voices, and who they’re becoming.

A new cohort. New connections. New experiences. And a whole lot of growth ahead.

We can’t wait to get started! 💕

⚽️ Access creates possibilities.

A huge thank you to pncbank for inviting our F.A.N.C.Y. Girls to an incredible afternoon with San Diego Wave FC!

Our girls had the opportunity to hear from women leaders during the Invest in Girls panel, learn about their career journeys, step onto the pitch, and then enjoy the Wave game together.

These are the experiences we want our girls to have. Opportunities to see new possibilities, meet women leading in different industries, and imagine themselves in spaces they may not have considered before.

Thank you, PNC, for continuing to invest in the next generation of girls and for being a valued partner of DETOUR Empowers. 💗

Access changes lives.
