At the June 1, 2026 MMTC meeting we will introduce our 2026 Mira Mesa Town Council/Verne Goodwin scholarship winners Addison Sadsarin, Larizza Riel, and Julian Tang. We will also receive an update on the state of District 6 from City Councilman Kent Lee.

There have been frequent questions about the status of Lazy Dog Restaurant. For those interested, Lazy Dog will present its design changes at the Mira Mesa Community Planning Group meeting this Monday, March 16 at 7 PM in the Mira Mesa Library.

The Mira Mesa Community Planning Group makes advisory recommendations to the City and other governmental agencies on land use matters in the Mira Mesa Community

We will have a photo shoot for the banners in the media center/library at Mira Mesa High School on March 17 from 3:30 pm until 4:00 pm.

MMTC Scholarship Application Deadline April 30th

All graduating high school seniors who are Mira Mesa residents and have enjoyed participating in community volunteering are encouraged to apply for this year’s college scholarship that MMTC awards annually based on community service.

The Mira Mesa Town Council/Verne Goodwin Scholarship Fund will award three $1000 scholarships in June. The deadline for completed application packages is April 30, 2026.
