Many Christians & Catholics say, "Everyone sins. God knows we can't stop sinning."
But God/Jesus wants everyone to live a life unto Him, without sinning.

Jesus said to the adulterous woman in John 8:11 "...and sin no more."
Jesus said to the paralyzed man that He healed in John 5:14 “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

John 8:1-9
paraphrased:
An adulterous woman was going to be stoned to death by Scribes and Pharisees. Jesus said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” The Scribes and Pharisees were convicted in their conscience & left.
John 8:10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
John 8:11
She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."

A Man healed at the Pool of Bethesda:
Jesus healed a paralyzed man & then the man walked away.
John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness.

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”

Sinful living is unrighteousness and God is Righteous.
1 Corinthians 15:34
Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

You can repent (turn away/stop) from sinning.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
