Losses make us feel lost. You never know the right thing to do or say. Nothing and no one can ever replace those weโve lost. We all grieve in our own individual ways, each of us as unique as the person we loved. They are so special to us for so many reasonsโฆ the way they lift us up, make us laugh, make us think, and bring a smile to our faces.๏ฟฝ
We are saddened to share that one of our beloved volunteers, Carlos McCowan, passed away on Monday. ๐
๏ฟฝCarlos was someone who made you feel like you were part of his familyโฆ caring, warm, and always willing to help. ๐งก If you attended any of our events, you surely met Carlos. His energy was electric; he could make you smile or laugh in an instant. Carlos had a heart of gold. Carlos and his wife Patricia would help from dawn to well after dusk... setting up, breaking down, organizing t-shirt boxes, taking extra shifts, filling the gaps, and camping with us. He was one of our most dedicated volunteers throughout the years.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Patricia, and their son and daughter. He will be deeply missed, and we will always treasure the memories and good times we shared together. ๐งก
