As we wrap up ‼️ Today our CEO/Founder had the honor of speaking at the M.E.C.C.A. / BEI Conference and sharing the story of Music Changing Lives alongside so many incredible Black-led organizations working to strengthen our communities.

Thank you to Rakayla and the entire team for creating space for our voices, our stories, and our solutions. Too often, the work happening on the ground goes unseen, or plagiarized and high jacked but today was a reminder that when we come together, we can build something bigger than any one organization.

For 28 years, Music Changing Lives has been committed to using music, art, education, and now through the we’re creating solutions to food security, social justice murals, edible reforestation and community engagement as tools for transformation.

Being invited to share that journey with leaders, funders, and changemakers invested in the future of Black communities was truly appreciated.

Most importantly, thank you for allowing us to be part of the conversation about the future of . The future isn’t something we wait for, it’s something we build together.

As we continue this work, we need partners, donors, volunteers, and champions who believe in investing in people. If you’ve ever been inspired by the lives we’ve touched, the gardens we’ve built, the murals we’ve created, the youth we’ve mentored, or the communities we’ve served, now is the time to help us sustain the momentum.

Our team came together with and to bless mothers impacted by the Eaton Fire with a special day of beauty, pampering, and love on Mother’s Day. 💄🤍

In the middle of recovery, moments like this matter. It wasn’t just makeup, it was healing, dignity, confidence, and reminding these mothers that their community still stands beside them long after the cameras leave.

Now we invite YOU to continue that spirit of community care with us this weekend as we return to Altadena for our next relief distribution supporting families impacted by the Eaton Fire. ❤️🔥
