BWI had a great meeting yesterday! To keep you updated on what might be coming, we discussed these items:

- BWI will be your source for rent relief
- BWI will provide down payment assistance mandatory training class
- BWI will provide education around topics related to building wealth

Happy New Year!

They say that whatever you are doing on January 1st represents what will be happening for the entire year.

I’m excited to report, BUILDING WEALTH INITIATIVE has just recieved its first contribution of $100 from our generous donors, Leland and Linda of Upland, California.

Thank you both! These funds will be used toward the streaming services for African-American churches in the Inland Empire.

Board member Lacey Kendall was featured in the Desert Sun, talking about Building Wealth Initiative and our most recent project.

This past March, Lacey Kendall, a local broadcaster, media consultant and faculty member at CSUSB, Palm Desert Campus saw a need to help local churches.

We had a fantastic meeting today. We wrote our mission and vision statements, and planned programming for next year.

I’d like to invite you to join our initiative to bring wealth to individuals, small businesses and community groups across the Inland Empire.
