age, resilience, and achievement, and it is our solemn duty to ensure its dissemination to future generations, including our children, grandchildren, acquaintances, and even those who may be strangers to us. The responsibility to safeguard this distinguished legacy is entrusted to us. The primary objective of NABMW/SA is to systematically collect narratives and experiences from every Black Woman who has served or is currently serving in the United States Armed Forces in San Antonio.
