Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a nonprofit organization located in South Central Texas and is dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of our dachshund friends. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all-volunteer group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare, and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. As such, we must r

ely heavily on donations and contributions, which are a necessity in order to continue to be able to pay the costs of veterinary care and other necessary expenses for each of our dachshunds. Diamond Dachshund has rescued, rehabilitated and placed from 100 to 200 dachshunds each year since our incorporation in 2003. We strive to find the right home for each dog's individual personality and needs so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the families who adopt them are equally happy.

These two pups are the sweetest dogs and are so easy to fall in love with. They take a little time to adjust, but we can guarantee a lot of laughs, smiles, and cuddles with these two sweet siblings.

Meet Rascal Flatts. Rascal has the sweetest face you’ll ever see. He is calm and well behaved, he doesn’t pull on the leash, and he is friendly with other dogs.

Through it all, Rascal is as sweet as can be. He’s attentive and smart. Rascal prefers woman and would do best home in a quieter home with another dog. Rascal is a gentle soul who's 3 years old and weighs around 19 pounds.
