Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas We are based in San Antonio, Texas. We are based in Central and South Central Texas and have volunteers in many parts of Texas.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a nonprofit organization located in South Central Texas and is dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of our dachshund friends. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all-volunteer group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare, and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. As such, we must rely heavily on donations and contributions, which are a necessity in order to continue to be able to pay the costs of veterinary care and other necessary expenses for each of our dachshunds. Diamond Dachshund has rescued, rehabilitated and placed from 100 to 200 dachshunds each year since our incorporation in 2003. We strive to find the right home for each dog's individual personality and needs so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the families who adopt them are equally happy.

Meet Molly Belle. Molly is a tiny, sweet, loving 10 year old, with the cutest face. She's quiet and gentle, and she enjoys snuggling next to her favorite person. She loves sun-bathing outside and taking cozy naps. 🩷 She does wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes. She has not been around cats. Molly is also fantastic in her crate and will happily nap there on her own.

Look at this handsome frosty face! Meet CoCo Button, who weighs 8 pounds and is around 15 years young.

Coco's foster says he's the sweetest, calmest little guy she's ever seen. Coco is crate trained, he can sleep in the big bed or on his floor bed. He gets along with other pups, but he's not sure about cats yet. His ideal home is where someone is home much of the time as this is what he's used to.
