I have some thank yous!!
Now Amazon did not give me names or thank you notes with names so if its you please say so.
First thank you for the new baby bottles!!! My baby fawn are really happy with more formula in bigger bottles! Especially since we are working on weaning and they only get 2 a day.
My next thank you is for a bag of formula! We have 6 opossums and now 5 baby squirrels on formula. Baby squirrels are coming in everyday. We have been getting in baby opossums plus our mbd opossum on formula. So I can't thank you enough!
Thank you Pam Bowers for releasing 90% of our larger opossums at your church pond to help clear out the ticks and snakes. It makes me feel good they have a safe home. We only have 6 left to release before fall. The rest along with the squirrels will be with us overwinter.
The fawn are growing so healthy and starting to eat grain. Im a little sad since that means its not long to release them. I will miss them the most. I will have my over winter small animals though.
Thank you all for donations and following and support ❤️

I've been Mia. Lost my phone that was dead....of course.
I want to thank someone for sending us the motion lights off our amazon list! There was no name with it. These are so important to us. They are going on my opossum pre release cages. Someone broke into one and released the babies. So we are repairing that but now you'll get lit up if you go near them! Ha!
Thank you everyone that is donating , we have our fave wildlife removalist Chris Moore building a fawn bottle rack. We bought all the stone and mortar to redo the bottom of the squirrel cage lightening blew out. No wood base now , now it will be stone.
We have taken in alot of bunnies and single baby opossums. And one opossum I put on our tik tok that is sick with mbd from a person trying to keep it as a pet and feed it wrong. Please always call a rehabber, leave a message, or message. I'll be posting new baby pics later!

So sorry I haven't been on. Our internet is off and on. If you have issues with our phone its because our phone is attached to our internet.
Lightening got us 3 times in 3 days. We have lived here 3 years and this is the first time. Everytime I look I find more damage.
First it blew out the bottom of my good squirrel rehab cage. With donations we will be redoing it in stone. It damaged the wood and wire on the other cage so we will be fixing that.
It took out the electrical box and outlets on my baby barn 😢 so through donations we can fix that.
It took out an $800 brisnea incubator I can't replace. That's devastating. My handy husband is taking it apart and trying to fix it. Wish him luck.
Both brand new fans for the big opossum building were also taken out. So they have to be replaced.
There's more it just seems like so much and we are not closed. We are still taking babies.

I want to thank all donors and people sharing this because that helps us fix things and helps us keep taking in animals in need. Thank you!!!
And thank you above that no animals were lost!!!!!

Well we have had a huge set back. The storms!
Lightening took out :
Baby Barn
Internet til Saturday
And came down a tree and blew out holes in my squirrel pre release cages.
This sucks and financially hurts bad.
But ALL babies are fine 🙂
So I'll be off till Saturday.
Anything from our Amazon list will help.
This as a small fundraiser for repairs will help also.

Welcome our lil LuLu. We have so many juvies its nice to get tinies. This poor baby was found starving, dehydrated, and covered in flystrike. She has what looks like a cleft pallet but its caused by an injury. This is the sweetest little baby ♥️ we got her a couple of days ago and she's doing so good!

If anyone would like to aid in our babies care please help. Donations are the reason we don't have to say no to the animals we are licensed for. We run off of donations and out of pocket. We do this because of our love for the animals. Thank you to everyone that does donate to us.

Update on Fulton and Moose.
Fulton unfortunately suffered from capture myopathy which happens from the injuries plus stress from being in captivity. We were so hopeful, he had started standing and walking but then a few days ago just passed. My heart broke.
Moose fully recovered. His awful diarrhea had me so worried he would pass but treatments worked. His face is still healing really well.Soooo he graduated to the Play Yard!!!! He is so happy with the other fawn.
They all still have 2 bottles a day so they still see me as mom for now. But as soon as no bottles they won't see me but maybe once or twice a week to fill the auto feeder and haybag. They have an auto waterer. Then they won't like me anymore. 😞 But thats what Im aiming for. Here's Moose in the Yard!

Also can anyone make me a bigger bottle rack that will fit these bottles better? Please???

Oh no. Its already late baby squirrel season. This is a baby only a few days old so we will be caring for it over winter. This tiny baby means we will get more. This one could not be reunited with mom because it was cover in ants. Ant venom requires antibiotics.
I got some pics of the new baby! The new baby is at the end.Cat got it so antibiotics for it to.
If a baby is not injured then please try to reunite with mom.

Put in a box on soft cloth
Fill a sock with rice and heat in microwave on 45 sec
Do not put babies on the heat
Put the cloth between baby and cloth to keep it warm
In a box or small basket fasten to tree or bottom of tree baby came from
Put your phone next to the box and play Baby Squirrel Distress sounds
Try every 15 mins for at least 45 mins
Important 🚨 hide do not let mom see you. Watch from a distance.

If none of this works
Do Not Feed!
Keep Warm Only
Call a rehabber

The wrong formula can shut down the babies digestive system. A cold baby can not digest.
We aren't being mean we have good reasons. Very well meaning finders don't know they can harm babies by doing this.

Please share for education and help for our rehab.

Another car vs baby deer. Meet Moose. He also suffers from severe diarrhea because his finders kept him for several days feeding him the wrong formula. Tractor supply has nothing for them! Please do not keep them, please do not feed them and please call a rehabber. Diarrhea alone can take him down.
Thank you to everyone that has and is donating. You help us give the right formula and treatments to hopefully stop this stomach issues. We are very grateful for your help!
