Our vertical raise started today! Band students received info during class today and should have their link ready to share! You can also use the following general link to help support our band programs at Erwin and East Rowan! We use this fundraiser to help provide offset the cost of supplies, repairs, and travel expenses to events throughout the year! Please feel free to share the link to help up reach our goals!

Fundraising is vital for the success of our program. The funds will aid us in purchasing new uniforms, instruments, band supplies, instrument repair, music, and travel expenses. Don't forget! This Wednesday, August 26, 2026 is an Early Release Day! Families, please make arrangements for an early pick up in the car rider line or for someone to be at home for bus drop off.

Reminder: If your school begins at 7:30 am, your school will release at 12:00 noon. If your school day begins at 8:30 am, your school will release at 1:00 pm.

RCEC students do not release early and will follow their regular school schedule.

East Rowan Band was out EARLY parking cars at the Dragonboat Race today! 🌅These band kids are some of the hardest working kids I know! The East Rowan drumline performed at lunchtime for the racers and spectators too!

So proud of these fantastic musicians! 🎵💙💛 They were so excited for their first adjudicated performance. For so many of these kids this was also their first time at Carowinds and riding some big coasters! These days are exhausting but I wouldn’t trade the experiences these kids get from these trips for anything! So many life lessons and memories to last a lifetime!
