✟ Today we celebrate Laetare Sunday, a joyful pause in the midst of the Lenten journey, reminding us that the joy of the Resurrection is drawing near.

✟ We also had the blessing of celebrating Scout Sunday with our Boy Scout Troop. Scout Sunday recognizes the young men and women involved in scouting who strive to grow in character, service, leadership, and faith. It is a day to thank God for their dedication to serving others and to encourage them to continue living out the values of duty to God and neighbor.

✟ We are grateful for our scouts and leaders who remind us that faith is not only something we believe, but something we live through service, courage, and community.

✟ Hoy celebramos el Domingo de Laetare, una pausa de alegría en medio del camino cuaresmal que nos recuerda que la alegría de la Resurrección ya se acerca.

✟ También tuvimos la bendición de celebrar Scout Sunday con nuestra tropa de Boy Scouts. Este día reconoce a los jóvenes del movimiento scout que buscan crecer en carácter, servicio, liderazgo y fe. Es una oportunidad para agradecer a Dios por su dedicación al servicio de los demás y animarlos a seguir viviendo los valores del deber hacia Dios y hacia el prójimo.

Bernadette was a sickly young girl and Mary told her to drink and wash in the nearby spring. This was the first of many healings to occur at Lourdes.
