Hey all. Been a while since a post but we have a mission that must respect our attention. Some of you may know of the fire at “tent city” in Minneapolis. This is a homeless encampment where folks are living in tents and trying SO hard to stay warm. I would like to create a drive where we can gather up blankets, winter wear, hygiene products ect.

I know the stigma of “these people are addicts, they brought it on themselves, there are programs to help them ect.

If there are 500 people in the camp and your contribution helps just ONE person, isn’t that enough?

I’d like to gather these things for the camp by thanksgiving. I plan on bringing items donated to them on the day of thanksgiving.

I can drive and pick up the donated items. If you prefer a monetary donation, all proceeds will be used to buy the necessities.

Let’s rally as a community folks, let’s make an impact. Who’s with us? Anytime helps. Even a few dollars.

Thanks so much to the people that answered the call so far! I am delivering gifts tomorrow at 5pm so if you have something to donate let me know I can swing by. If you want to donate money, I will be shopping tomorrow at 1pm for a few things. You can send your donation to my Venmo account. My user name is on Venmo. CALL TO ACTION: Members, every year we do something for less fortunate kids and families during the holiday. Today I met a family that has recently moved into an apartment after living in a tent for the past 3 months. Everything this mother had went to a home for her and her 10 year old daughter. She is unable to provide anything for her for xmas. The mother has also been diagnosed with Cancer. The daughter told her mom she didn't want anything for xmas (bless her heart). She is a huge fan of legos and Minecraft and a size 10 in clothes. Let's make this happen people. Anyone on here willing to donate gift cards/gifts? I'd like to get these delivered Friday so this little one can have some things under the tree when she wakes up Xmas morning.

Project Bear Hugs/Grace Myler made a trip to Guatemala to deliver bears and bunk beds to these over joyed kids. Grace and her family hosted the event and made the trip out to personally deliver these! The smiles say it all! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our event on Sunday! All of the bears we made together will be traveling to Guatemala with my family and given to Guatemalan families receiving bunk beds. Together we made 50 teddy bears!!!! (along with puppies, dinosaurs and bunnies). That's spreading a lot of love!
