DAF Day is just one week away! But what exactly is DAF Day and why should your Native-led nonprofit pay attention?

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows donors to set aside money for charitable giving and recommend grants to the nonprofits and causes they want to support. Think of it as a charitable giving account donors can use to support organizations like yours.

Let the data work for your Native nonprofit. By mentioning DAFs in your emails, social media, and other communications, you can remind supporters that they may already have charitable funds available to support your work—and encourage them to recommend a grant.

Don’t let DAF giving be an afterthought. This week, make sure your supporters know you accept DAF gifts and invite them to recommend a grant to your organization on DAF Day, October 8.
