Congratulations to Jack from Troop 60 out of Savannah, Missouri on his Eagle Scout advancement this week! Troop 60 is building some major momentum with Eagle advancements this year.

Jack is a member of the Camp Geiger Staff and is active in his school and community, demonstrating leadership in all that he does. He currently serves as the Head Fire Builder in Mic-O-Say. Nicely done!

The Warrior’s Council is hosting a Food Drive during the Feast this year to support Second Harvest and bring Scouting into the community that supports us.

This is…(you know it), a COMPETITION. 🔥🔥

You can bring items to the basement of Goetz Lodge during registration times on the day of Feast (Saturday, May 30th). A list of needed items are located on the graphic of this post.

The winner will receive a NEW traveling trophy that will be displayed during the summer! 🌞

We need YOUR HELP to make this event a success! Please pass this information along to your MOS member Scouts! 😎

We are so excited to welcome you back to the Geiger Reservation this Saturday, May 30th. It’s sure to be a fantastic event and we hope that you can join us!

The full schedule is below (retreat included):

Retreat Schedule:
7:30am-9:00am – Registration for Runners, TTB, and FB at Goetz Lodge
8:30-9:00am – TC Meeting in the TC Room
9:00-9:15am – White Coup Society meeting in Corral
9:00-4:30pm – Interviews and Retreat Activities

Feast Schedule:
4:30pm - Registration at Trading Post
6:00pm - Supper at Dining Hall
7:00pm - Self Denial / Dog Soldier
7:45pm - Black Hawk Memorial Dedication at Black Hawk Ridge
8:15pm - Dress for Feast
8:45pm - Meet at the Running Horse Council Ring

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten.

As Scouts, we are reminded that citizenship, service, and respect are more than values — they are responsibilities.

This Memorial Day, let us remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and strive to live lives worthy of their legacy.
