Volunteer Spotlight ✨ Meet Barb and Marilyn!

With more than 2,200 volunteer hours from Barb and 2,000 from Marilyn, these two have given so much of their time and heart to the Mosaic Gift Shop!

For patients, families and caregivers, the Gift Shop can be a peaceful place to pause, find a little comfort and see a friendly face.

We’re so grateful for Barb and Marilyn and the warmth they bring to Mosaic through their service!

Words are hard. Supporting local breast cancer patients is easy! ☕️

Coffee for a Cure is TOMORROW! Stop by The Human Bean in St. Joseph from 5:00 am – 7:30 pm.

Funds raised will benefit the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary, and those funds will be matched in support of the Breast Care Patient Assistance Fund, doubling the impact for local patients!

A little time can make a big difference in our community!

We’re proud to support United Way of Greater St. Joseph in their efforts to provide meal kits to local families, and there’s still time for YOU to get involved!

Two volunteer opportunities remain this week:

• Thursday, October 15 from 5:30 - 7 pm
• Saturday, October 17 from 9:30 - 11 am

Whether you’re volunteering individually, with family or alongside a group, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and care for our neighbors.

Today’s the day! 🚀 STEAM After School kicks off at EmpowerU Programs!

Students in grades 3-8 will get hands-on with robotics, Minecraft Education, virtual reality and more, all while building, experimenting and exploring STEAM in a fun, creative environment.

After 24 years as a Mosaic caregiver, local artist Sheila James continues to give back through the Healing HeARTS program, bringing creativity and a little break to patients through the art cart.

From painting with a toddler in the ICU to creating keepsakes inspired by patients’ stories, Sheila has seen firsthand how meaningful these moments can be.

We’re grateful for volunteers like Sheila who bring a little extra joy to our patients.
