“The season of small town revival is here.”

The sold-out crowd for our “Rural Revival By Design” event today heard this enthusiastic statement from speaker Peggy Buhr as she described some of the critical components of a successful small town.

She was joined by former Adrian, Missouri City Council Chair Mark Lovelace, who stepped through the complex process of securing grant support and creating public/private partnerships to upgrade infrastructure, revive buildings, grow businesses, and enhance their town’s vibrancy.

In a town of just 1,700, “it all depends on the people.“ It was exciting and poignant to hear how this town has maintained its vision for a progressive, tight knit community.

Thanks to our two presenters and for their “fan club“ who made the two-hour round-trip to join us for KC Design Week!
