Kane County Farm Bureau

Kane County Farm Bureau Enhance the quality of life for member families;
Promote agriculture, farms & food; and,
Advocate good stewardship of our land & resources.

Farm Bureau is a voice for farmers and others who have a vested interest in agriculture. Our mission is to “Enhance the quality of life for member families, promote all aspects of agriculture and advocate good stewardship of our land and resources”. To achieve that, many member services developed over the years. As these services were added, non-farmers were given access to Farm Bureau services. C

ountry Mutual and Country Preferred insurance services are two such services available only to Farm Bureau members. They are services that evolved from a need other insurers were unwilling to underwrite 75 years ago. As an insurance company formed to insure farmers, Country Mutual and Country Preferred stay true to that original mission today by insuring only those who show their support for farms and farmers by their membership in a county Farm Bureau. Please feel free to call our office at (630) 584-8660 with any questions

🍂 You picked the favorites! 🍎

We asked you to share your favorite fall stops, and you delivered! With more than 25 local favorites mentioned by our followers, we put together a Fall Favorites Map featuring some of the places you love most. ❤️

From pumpkin patches and apple orchards to farm stands, markets, and more, there’s plenty to explore this fall right here in our community.

And because a few of your favorites were just beyond Kane County, we added those too!🚗🍁

Save the map, share it with a friend, and start planning your fall adventures!

Did we miss your favorite? Let us know! We’ll keep it in mind for next year’s map. It’s never our intention to leave anyone out!

Last week, we brought members and non-members together for Grain to Glass, an evening exploring the journey of grain from the farmer’s field to the glass in your hand.

After a tour from the brewery’s owner, attendees heard directly from local farmers about how they grow their crops, the practices they use, and where their grain goes after it leaves the farm. The evening also created plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share perspectives, and have open conversations about agriculture, farming, and the food and beverages we enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a great conversation. And a big thank you to Riverlands Brewing Company for hosting us again! 🍻
