Big Hearts of Fox Valley is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the children of D303 by enhancing their holiday experiences, ensuring warmth through the winter, easing their return to school, and fostering a continuous support year-round. Big Hearts of Fox Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of children whose families are experiencing a financial

hardship living within the boundaries of School District 303. Charles and portions of Wayne, Wasco, Elburn, West Chicago, South Elgin, Campton Hills, and unincorporated Kane County. We are a group of volunteers working closely with D303 staff who help to identify families that are experiencing a financial hardship impacting the parents ability to provide gifts to their children during the holidays and basic items throughout the year. We provide programs such as a Christmas Sponsorship, Holiday Toy Drive, Gift Wrapping Party and Basic needs Throughout the Year. We hope you will join us in our efforts to make the lives of the children around us a little brighter, not just at Christmastime but throughout the school year as well.

If you have a child at St. Charles North High School or St. Charles East High School, there will be a collection box in the lobby all week.

The Big Hearts Throughout the Year program provides continuous support to families in D303 who are struggling to make ends meet.
This initiative helps with essential items such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, school supplies, shoes, grocery gift cards, and winter gear. By addressing these needs year-round, we ensure that children and their families feel supported and cared for no matter the season.

As you see the line of cars picking up gifts, take a moment to imagine the joy on the faces of 550 children on Christmas morning. Picture the relief of parents who, amid their struggles, could breathe a little easier knowing their kids would have a memorable holiday.

Witness the magic of giving! ๐Ÿ’ซ Another year, another successful Santa's Drive-Thru! โค๏ธ Over 10,000 gifts and $15,695 in gift cards were distributed to families in need. Ensuring 550 children will wake up with gifts under their tree this year!

This is why we do what we do:

โ€œYou guys really helped out our family. I mentioned in the wish list that my son has autism and I started crying when I saw the sensory toys and fidget toys. You guys are so personal. You guys really make a difference."

Brightening the lives of local children affected by financial hardship.

Big Hearts of Fox Valley NFP is a 501c3 charity organization dedicated to brightening the lives of children whose families are experiencing a financial hardship within School District 303. With a reach to St. Charles and portions of Wayne, Wasco, Elburn, West Chicago, South Elgin, Campton Hills, and unincorporated Kane County, we're committed to identifying and coming together to meet the emotional and basic needs of those around us. We are staffed entirely by volunteers with the assistance of local individuals, families, businesses and local government.

Some of you may know us as the owners of Excel Automotive Repair. Because of our desire to help even more local children throughout the year, in 2019 we decided to become an official non for profit. When coming up with the name, we thought of how this really is such a community effort and how everyone has such big, caring hearts. We came up with the name BIG HEARTS of FOX VALLEY.

Since 2014, we have been coordinating a Christmas Gift Sponsorship & Holiday Toy Drive to help children in need in School District 303 receive gifts from wish lists that they personally create. We work directly with D303 social workers who identify families who may be experiencing any of the following factors that impact the parentsโ€™ ability to provide gifts during the holidays and throughout the year:
