FCNRCD is turning 80 years old! Celebrate with us on Monday, July 13th, 2026 at the Fairfield Community Center as we reflect on eight decades of conservation in Franklin County.

Enjoy an evening of community connection and good food, including pizza fresh from the Community Center’s wood-fired oven. The event will also feature a raffle of local farm products and a look back at the District’s history and lasting impact across the county.

All are welcome. Please RSVP so we can plan for food and refreshments: https://www.franklincountynrcd.org/event-details/fcnrcds-80th-birthday-party

FWA staff have come off an event filled winter and are using this spring to get out in our community. Emily and Andre helped out a little bit at the St. Albans Maple Festival and could be seen volunteering at the end of the 46th annual Sap Run on April 26th.

On March 12th the FWA collaborated with Franklin County NRCD and Scott Magnan’s Custom Service to put on the annual Precision Ag Workshop. We had a great turnout and heard some great presentations. We had fun and learned a lot! Thanks to everyone who attended.
