Valuable info for all students (courtesy City College NY). Hopefully you can benefit from this. There is for school students as well.
With an unprecedented number of schools closing and students across the country shifting to digital learning because of COVID-19, several companies are offering free services for the next 60 days in addition, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and Comcast have announced additional services during the coronavirus outbreak, such as the removal of data caps and waiver of late fees. Students should check with their individual carriers for these arrangements. https://www.cnet.com/news/carriers-are-suspending-internet-data-caps-during-coronavirus/

Verizon has made digital resources available to schools and teachers across the country.
The Verizon Innovative Learning Schools Connection website has a number of resources including tips to prepare for and implement robust digital learning plans and Verizon’s partner Digital Promise has helpful COVID-19 online learning resources and FAQs.

Knowing many students also rely on schools for more than learning, Verizon is working with nonprofit partners to ensure children from low-income families still have access to healthy meals while their schools are closed.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and happy Holidays to one and all. Christmas season is the greatest time of the year. It’s a time of sharing, caring and loving. Not that we shouldn’t be caring, sharing and loving at other times. But Christmas spirit enhances these, no matter what religion you believe or don’t believe.
Arya loved Christmas. As a child he would try to sit through the night next to the Chimney hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa. He would soon fall asleep and I’ll carry him to his bed. Next morning he’ll be excited to see gifts under the Christmas tree.
So, here I’m posting the pictures of Arya’s home. We have two Christmas tree, with one being a live tree. Our home is decorated in the spirit of Christmas, including a toy Christmas village on the hill with train going around it. It’s truly magical.
Once again A Very Very Happy Christmas and Holidays to one and all.

Today is Arya’s B’Day. Arya used to be very excited about his birthday planning big things, new things. So today I, Arya's Dad, want to rededicate myself to the cause of the Childhood Cancer and our foundation. During the last few years we’ve lost our momentum and now it’s my goal to revitalize the organization by adding new BOD members and initiating new programs. Of our original BOD members two (Swati and John) left the BOD in 2016. We thank them for their contributions. Louisa and I are continuing. We added two new members - Tony and Ramzi. Soon we’ll be adding more BOD members, reorganize the office portfolios to inject new blood and new ideas. While we regretfully slowed down, we never veered from our HARD commitment to spend your donation for the purpose you gave us money for. We’ve steadfastly used your money for the welfare of the Cancer Kids in some form or other as per our charter. As always our BOD members neither draw salary, nor do they get compensated for any incidental or personal expenses. We’re committed as always, that 100% of your donation is used for cancer charity work.
The BOD wants to thank all our donors and supporters. We’ll update you as we have further announcements.

God Bless you all and especially our young cancer fighters!! May they be cured soon!!!

It’s Father’s Day today. I wish all the Fathers, a great and a happy day. As Arya’s dad, I can tell you that you can never say “ too many” “I love you” to ur child. Start as early as you can and there will be a bond of love that’ll last for ever through good times as well as very bad times. I’m glad I did that, otherwise I’d have never been able to forgive me, ever. So be a Dad, do your special dad thing and once again a very very Happy Father’s Day to all of you out there!!

06/18/2018

Wishing all Dads the most wonderful Father's Day. Three cheers to fatherhood and all the joy of raising a child. Pl. never forget to tell the kids how much you love them!!
