these magnificent beings. She will not

Hillsdale. Nonlethal wildlife management strategies are safe, effective, and humane.

Research has shown that hunting is not an effective deer‑management strategy.

Bow hunting has a high wounding rate exceeding 50%, leaving many animals unrecovered or dying on private property.

Plant deer-resistant plants, such as Lavender, Foxglove, Russian Sage, Daffodils, Yarrow, Salvia, Coneflower, Bleeding Heart
Dogs can help to deter deer, since they are fearful of dogs.
Education is the key: It's not about managing deer; it's about managing the conflicts.
We must learn to coexist.
