For over 50 years, The Friends have fundraised to provide many valued programs and services offered to Library patrons. New members are always welcome!

Our community supports us at monthly Book Sales and through annual membership donations.

Don't miss the last Friends of The Library Sale of the season! This Saturday, June 6th, from 10am-1pm will be a big blowout! We are featuring many special sales to clear the shelves––All Children's and YA titles, Cookbooks, Sports, Gardening, Travel books, and CD's and DVD's are 4 for $1! Puzzles, games and Summer Workbooks for grades 2-8 are 2 for $1. All other titles are at our regular low prices of $2 each hardcover and $1 each paperback. Come and stock up for the summer! Our Lobby Book Sale will continue throughout the summer with new titles regularly. All books there are $1. As always, every child who comes to browse may select a free book. We will resume our regular Book Sales on Saturday August 29th. Happy Summer Reading!

The Friends shelves are stocked with new titles in every category! This Saturday, May 2nd, featured sales will be on adult paperback novels, cookbooks, children’s paperback and board books, CD’s and DVD’s.
Be sure to stop in from 10am to 1pm and stock up! As always, any child who comes to browse may select a free book. All sales are CASH ONLY. Can’t make the sale? Our Lobby Book Sale will continue to be stocked with a changing variety of good reads. All titles there are $1.00. Do you want to get involved with keeping our Library great? Join the Friends! Are you ready for Spring Shopping? The Friends have fully stocked shelves and lots of great deals for our Saturday, April 11th Book Sale from 10am to 1pm. April's Special Sales are Puzzles, Games and Cookbooks $1.00 each. Travel Books 2 for $1.00. Adult Fiction Paperbacks, Children's and Young Adult paperbacks, and CD's and DVD's 4 for $1.00. All sales are CASH ONLY. Stop by and buy!

This Saturday, March 7th, from 10am-1pm The Friends of The Upper Saddle River Library are having a huge Book Sale. Inventory is high and bargains abound! Happy New Year from The Friends! Our first Book Sale of 2026 will be this Saturday, January 10th, from 10 am to 1pm. As winter’s chill winds blow, you’ll need a good book to snuggle up with! Find several at our Book Sale, this Saturday December 6th from 10am-1pm! This month’s Special Sales are: All children’s paperbacks are 4 for $1.00. Puzzles are 2 for $1.00 and Animal Books are $.50 each. Stop by and buy! (CASH ONLY). As usual, all children who come to browse may select a free book. Make a day of it!
