This morning at approximately 9am, members of Saddle River PBA Local 348, some of our Saddle River Dispatchers, members of the Saddle River Department of Public Works, and the 5th grade students from our very own Wandell School received the Flame of Hope from the Upper Saddle River Police Department and completed our 2.5 mile portion of the 2025 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Local 348 is extremely proud to have participated in such an amazing event. Today’s run raises a tremendous amount of awareness for the Special Olympics of NJ. Our local donated $1,900, which we are honored to have the ability to do.
Local 348 would just like to thank everybody that participated in the run. We would also like to thank our DPW for helping support and set up today.
