Su trabajo científico, liderazgo y valentía han permitido ampliar el conocimiento global sobre los tiburones y demostrar la importancia vital que tienen para la salud de nuestros océanos. Desde el primer ultrasonido de tiburón toro en Playa del Carmen, hasta su participación en iniciativas clave como la creación del Parque Nacional Revillagigedo, su legado ya forma parte de la historia de la conservación.
