Since its founding in May 1990, the RPB Rotary Club, comprised of local business and professional leaders, has been effecting positive changes within our community. It has taken a leadership role in providing scholarships and other programs for our youth, and assisting our less for
tunate. It is a resource for our local business community offering advice in forming and growing their enterprises and recognizing individual accomplishments. Weekly meetings serve as a venue for community leaders and local service organizations to inform members of issues important to Royal Palm Beach residents. As an affiliate of Rotary International, club members also have an impact on worldwide humanitarian issues. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society
