Little Learners. Big Futures! 💚

At Hope With YouMom, we’re not just investing in mothers. We’re investing in the next generation!

We’re excited to welcome Miss Maiya of Mz. Maiya’s Busy Bees Learning Center to the Hope With YouMom family!

Through our Kindergarten Readiness and Tutoring Program, Miss Maiya is helping our little learners build strong educational foundations through early literacy, reading development, and homework support.

And here’s what makes this so meaningful:

While our moms are gaining the tools and resources to build greater stability for their families, their children are receiving the educational support they need to thrive.

Because we believe that when a mother is supported, her children benefit. And when both generations are equipped, we’re helping create opportunities for lasting change.

This is more than tutoring. It’s an investment in their future.

Building Stronger Futures, One Mom at a Time! 🤍

On Monday night, Hope With YouMom officially kicked off our Fall 2026 semester, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead!

We’re thrilled to welcome Tessie Watts of The Leadership Haven to our team of community partners!

Throughout the 2026–2027 program year, Tessie will be working alongside our moms through our Career Development Program, helping equip them with the tools, confidence, and skills needed to pursue meaningful opportunities and build stronger futures.

At Hope With YouMom, we believe empowering a mother goes far beyond meeting an immediate need. It’s about helping her build a future of stability, opportunity, and hope.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐦’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞

When she first walked through the doors of Hope With YouMom, she wasn’t quite sure where she fit or if there was even room for her.

What she discovered was more than a program. She found a community that welcomed her, women who believed in her, and a seat at a table where her presence mattered.

But something beautiful happened along the way.

She didn’t just find her seat. She found her voice.

𝟐𝟎 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭. 🏡💚

For a young mom, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝. It creates room to breathe, and room to focus on what comes next: showing up for work, finishing school, being present for her children, and building toward long-term goals.

Each of these moms is doing the hard work of moving forward. Housing support gives her a steady place to stand while she does it.

She didn't need someone to fix her life. She needed someone to believe she could.

So many of the moms we meet are carrying more than anyone can see: worry about rent, about what's next, about whether they're doing enough for their kids. And every child is watching, learning from how their mom gets through it.

When a mom finally has support, something shifts. She breathes a little easier. She starts to plan again. And her little one gets to grow up in a home that feels steadier and safer, with a mom who believes in the future again.

This week, we're saying thank you to Kim Worth — a guest instructor who generously gave her time to teach our moms life skills that will serve them for years to come. 💚

Volunteers like Kim are the heartbeat of this mission. The classes she teaches aren't flashy, but they're the kind of practical, real-world knowledge that helps a mom step into her next chapter with more confidence and more tools in hand.

This year, our team had the honor of walking alongside 95 moms — each one navigating her own version of building a more stable future for herself and her child.

Behind every number is a story: a class finished, a job secured, a lease signed, a next step taken with someone in her corner.

At Hope With YouMom, hope isn't a feeling we hand a mom and hope it sticks — it's built step by step, alongside her. Through education, career pathways, financial coaching, healthy support systems and stable housing, we walk with teen and young adult moms as they build real, practical confidence for their future.

Hope isn't abstract here. It looks like a finished class, a first paycheck, a lease signed, a next step taken.
