Community Partner Spotlight: Vastola Legal 🤍

At Hope With YouMom, empowering moms means helping them prepare not only for today, but for the future they’re building for their children.

We’re grateful to Vastola Legal for partnering with us to provide estate planning education and guidance to the moms in our program. Through this partnership, our moms are learning how important it is to protect their children, make their wishes known, and begin building a legacy through tools like wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

This is what empowerment looks like—equipping moms with the knowledge and resources to make confident decisions for themselves and their families.

🎉 WE’RE CELEBRATING OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR! 🎉

We are excited to share that our Executive Director, Aimee Nelson, has been nominated for the 2026 Hats Off Nonprofit Awards! 👒

For years, Aimee has poured into the lives of young mothers and their children, leading Hope With YouMom with faith, vision, and a deep commitment to seeing families thrive.

But in this season, the mission has become even more personal.

Aimee began this work as a married mom advocating for single and young mothers. After the loss of her husband, she now finds herself navigating motherhood as a widow and single mom. What she once understood through compassion and knowledge, she now understands through heart and lived experience.

At Hope With YouMom, we believe that when you impact the life of a mother, you impact two generations at a time.

This nomination celebrates Aimee’s leadership, but it also reflects the incredible staff, board, volunteers, donors, mentors, partners, and community who make this work possible every day.

Aimee, we celebrate you, and we’re grateful for the way you continue to carry this mission forward. 💚

Today, we invested in the team behind the mission. 🤍

Our Hope With YouMom team spent the day in leadership and team development with Tessie Watts of The Leadership Haven—strengthening how we lead, communicate, grow, and serve together.

Because as our organization grows, we want to make sure we are growing too.

The work we do is deeply personal. We walk alongside young moms as they build stronger futures for themselves and their children, and that requires a team that is equipped, aligned, and committed to leading well.

We’re grateful for Tessie creating space for us to learn, reflect, sharpen our leadership, and prepare for where Hope With YouMom is headed next.

Working full-time doesn’t always mean making it. 77% of single mother households in Florida can’t consistently cover rent, food, child care, and transportation — even with a paycheck.
We see it here in Palm Beach County every day. And it’s why Hope WithYouMom was built the way it was: not as a quick fix, but as a year-long walk alongside a mom — a model built to grow with the need across our state.
