Fun Fact Friday ⚡ Wilhelm Röntgen won the very first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901, and he never patented X-rays so the discovery could benefit everyone. He called them "X" rays because their nature was unknown. Sunday marks 131 years since his discovery. Rad Tech Week starts in 2 days! 🎉

Throwback Thursday 🧲 In 1973, Paul Lauterbur published the idea of using magnetic field gradients to create images from NMR signals, and Peter Mansfield developed faster imaging methods. Their work earned the 2003 Nobel Prize. The first human MRI scan came in 1977 and took nearly five hours. Today's MRI techs scan a brain in minutes.
