Pheasants Forever, Inc (PF)/Quail Forever (QF) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. Company Overview
Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are the only national conservation organizations that empower local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100% of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent. In Illinois, chapters have spent more than $11 Million for Habitat projects and youth education impacting more than 275,000 acres.

Please email your congressman. We need a farm bill. Thank you.

For the fourth year in a row, the farm bill expired at the end of September, leaving programs like CRP, and the farmers and ranchers who rely on them, in limbo. We need your voice to tell Congress that we need a new five-year farm bill NOW!

The Senate Ag Committee advanced their bill out of committee last month and the House passed their version in April, but the work isn’t done. We need Congress to finish the job and pass a farm bill this year that provides the certainty and predictability that rural America needs.

Please consider joining Knox County Chapter and Rock Island & Henry County Pheasants Forever for a Hands On Habitat Work Day this coming Saturday, May 23, at Forever Fields!

The plan is to begin work at 8:00 a.m. and work for about 3 hours doing invasive brush removal.

*Bring gloves, eye protection, and if you have them: chainsaws, loppers, pole saws, reciprocating saws with aggressive brush or demolition blades, etc.
*There will be a cooler with water available, but bring your own drinks if desired.
*We will be focusing on the unit directly west of the South Parking lot (41.02577, -90.03353)
*Don't feel like you have to stay for the whole time, even an hour of help would be awesome!
