The Broadway Historic District would like to send a big thank you to those caring and dedicated volunteers that showed up today to help show their and pick up trash through the neighborhood. We had about 15 bags of trash picked up, 10 storm drains cleared, some furniture picked up in alleys, and a few tree limbs picked up!

You can still help by stepping out your front door and picking up any trash you see and your alley.

Attention Broadway Historic District residents, the fall cleanup dumpsters have arrived in their usual spot! One is for Bulk Waste the other is for yard waste. Please do not dump chemicals, tires, etc. when they are full please do not drop additional off. They will be here through the weekend. If you are not sure where the spot is that we usually use, direct message us.

Calling all volunteers of past cleanups and new ones!! Today is the annual fall cleanup. We’ll meet at 10am at the Wagner House 904 23rd St for coffee and donuts then scatter throughout the historic district to pick up trash. Stop anytime before noon to check our map and see what blocks didn’t get volunteers. Rain or shine! If you’re too busy to help or it’s raining too hard please help by stepping out your front door and picking up any trash in sight on the block then the alley also!

It’s that time of year, our annual fall cleanup. Any volunteers that want to help we’re meeting Saturday 9/19 at 10am for coffee and donuts at the Wagner House 904 23rd St then dispersing through the neighborhood to assigned blocks to pick up trash. Come by anytime 10-noon and check out which blocks didn’t get a volunteer. Rain or shine! Join us in showing ! If it’s raining too hard or you’re short on time please help by stepping out your front sidewalk or back alley and pick up any trash within your block.

Attention Broadway Historic District residents: this Saturday 9/19 we’ll have our annual fall cleanup. We’ll meet at 10am at the Wagner House 904 23rd St for coffee and donuts and then spread through the neighborhood to pick up trash. Clean up is 10-12 and you can come by anytime to check out what blocks have been assigned to volunteers. Take as many blocks as you have time to cleanup. Rain or shine! If you’re too busy then help us out, please step outside your own block and help pick up any trash within sight.

Hey Broadway District Residents: come by the Broadway Greenspace on the corner of 7th Ave & 23rd St today between 11-3 for our annual Block Party. We host this to bring neighbors together to meet, catch up, and as a thank you for our cleanup and Mother’s Day Tour volunteers. Feel free to bring a side dish or chair. Feel free to stay or just pop by! This is a great opportunity to get involved in your community and to meet other people who own historic homes and discuss the challenges we encounter with preservation/restoration.

It’s our annual Block Party this Saturday 8/29 from 11-3 at the Broadway Greenspace on the corner of 7th Ave & 23rd St. we’ll have burgers, hot dogs, chips, water. Bring a chair and if you like to show off a great side dish feel free to bring one! We host this to bring our neighbors together each year and meet each other, catch up, discuss neighborhood activities, and as a thank you for the volunteers that show up to our cleanups and help with the Mother’s Day Tour. Pop by anytime, one don’t have to stay the whole time. If you’ve wanted to meet some neighbors then this is your sign! Bounce house will be there as usual for the kids.

Attention Broadway Historic District residents and all the volunteers that showed up to our cleanups or helped the the Mother’s Day Tour: we’re having a Broadway Block Party Saturday at the Broadway Greenspace on the corner of 7th Ave & 23rd st. Hot dogs, burgers, chips, water will all be provided. We’ll have a bounce house for the kids. Bring a chair and come visit with your neighbors. If you have a favorite side dish you love to show off, feel free to bring it! This is an opportunity to meet others living in historic homes and talk about the restoration/preservation challenges you have encountered. Have concerns about our neighborhood? This is the opportunity to talk with your neighbors!

****UPDATE***** the meeting has changed to 5/28.

We apologize for the last minute notice. We had a few board members have last minute conflicts and needed to reschedule to maintain a quorum.

The Broadway Historic District Association will have its monthly meeting Thursday 5/28/26 at 1923 10th Ave 6:30-8pm. These meetings are open to all Broadway District residents. No sign up in advance required. Public comment is at the start of the meeting.
