Fire Benefit set for Sept 7, 5 to 7, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 4501 7th Avenue, Rock Island. KeyStone along with Palomares/St. John's Catylst Project will hold a Mexican/American dinner fundraiser for a young couple who lost everything in a recent fire. Raffle baskets will also be available. Donations will be received at this event or can be mailed to: KeyStone, PO Box 3085, Rock Island, IL 61201. For more information call 788-7106.

Keystone Picnic in Lincoln Park set for Sunday, June 24, 3 to 5 pm, at the small shelter with serving about 3.30. All residents with families are invited to come and bring a dish to share. Meats, drinks and tableware will be provided. Betsy Huston, Americorps volunteer with Rebuilding Together QC, will be honored for her two years of service to our neighborhood.
