Here are some wonderful shots of the lagoon at Longview Park - full of water thanks to the rain the QC had last week! We appreciate the work that has gone into this restoration as well as the work done by our Labor Group friends on the United Way Day of Caring a couple of weeks ago.

🌳 Many hands make light work at Longview Park! 🌳

A huge thank-you to United Way Quad Cities Day of Caring for coordinating a wonderful group of volunteers who came out to help with the lagoon restoration project at Longview Park!

Volunteers representing local labor unions rolled up their sleeves and spent the day clearing away dead brush, planting trees and helping with fall preparation work. Their hard work is making a real difference, and it’s exciting to see the area coming along so nicely. 🌱

We are so grateful for the time, energy and teamwork these volunteers brought to Longview. It truly takes a community to care for a place like this β€” and what a great community we have!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who gave their time to make Longview Park a little more beautiful. πŸ’š
