We're so excited to see their beautiful new Skip-a-Long Childhood Center and Welcoming Center open here in Rock Island's West End!

What a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. Let's celebrate this great new facility and all the opportunities it will bring to local children and families!

Exciting news for our West End!

Thank you to the Moline Regional Community Foundation for awarding us $10,000 to support our third round of Financial Literacy Classes with Ascentra Credit Union!

As we prepare to welcome the first credit union to the West End, we're another step closer to making financial education and services more accessible to our neighbors.

The possibilities are endless! 💪🏽

Our staff had some fun with this trend, but we really do need your help with our 37th Annual Thanksgiving Meals!

HELP US FILL THE SHELVES! 💙💚🧡

Our Family Advocacy Center (FAC) is seeking donations of nonperishable food and bottled water to keep our new, free community food pantry stocked!

We're also excited to share that our deep freezer is now up and running! This means we'll be able to offer heat-and-go meals for neighbors who may not have access to cooking facilities. Starting in November, Miss Yolanda will also be donating prepared meals to help support this effort.

🎉 Happy 99th Birthday to Rev. Gabriel Barber III!

Rev. Barber has been a part of the Quad Cities community for decades. He's a World War II veteran, served as pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Davenport for 46 years, and spent 30 years on the Rock Island County Board.

We were honored to have him give the closing benediction at our 2025 MLK Memorial Service!

Thank you, Rev. Barber, for your many years of service to our community. We hope you have a wonderful birthday! 💙💚🧡
