ATTENTION ROCHESTER

WE HAVE THE PLEASURE TO ANNOUNCE THE HUB IS COMING TO THE AREA

The arrival of the first part of the plan is in conjunction with GCC and a spay neuter mobile surgery and vetting truck.

Our director is flying down this next week to help pick up and drive the fully repaired truck.

We need a second driver to help bring it from Texas to New York
🆘‼️🆘‼️🚚 if you have a valid license and want to drive with Wendy call or text 585-305-5111 must be able to have next week off

(If anyone is familiar with Dr Lawler in Dansville these Trucks were what were used at her old practice in Texas )

Donations are needed for the repairs and travel

(HUB will help with some costs but I’d love to get this up here with ROCHESTER strong behind it. )

The van will be used for low cost spay and neuter through the rescues and there will be a way for community members to get to access the services once it’s up and running

This is Mumbles 🥰

We are heading to the vet for a fatty lump removal and teeth cleaning

We want this boy to live and have a good life - he needs you!

We are willing to spend 1200-1700 today for his surgery

He’s a sparkler unicorn boy. He’s in the 4-5 year old range and should have multiple happy years ahead of him but he’s got some things that make him a little harder to place.

He doesn’t like other animals at all

He needs a 6 ft fence or higher

Positives are that he’s a great friend to the end for his person and loves to play fetch and could do just fetch in the yard and snuggles on the couch

HE IS FREE. We are placing this beautiful non pitty (Aussie mix ) without a fee and we are willing to cover his vetting for life! He's one of our FOREVER FOSTERS!

Please support him in finding his forever, we are begging for him! E

We would love to find him a quiet home (even a foster home for now) to recover from his surgery in - right now he's with multiple other dogs and so has to be crated much of the time.

our cute little Squirrel, Chipmunk, Mouse, and Hamster puppies from the horrible conditions in the city a few weeks ago have a urgent request from our foster to find a new place asap as the foster has a family emergency

Luckily they are getting healthy and ready for placement in homes

Our sister rescue that we are collaborating with Buddy Love and our other fosters are currently full up

🤏 SMALL DOGS - many want them, rescue doesn't often have many of them.

🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕 However, we've currently got a plethora of young adult and adult dogs 25 lbs and under! Let's try something different and how about we just tell you WHY these smalls have not been adopted yet - and maybe regardless of their "BUTs", one will be a fit for you! 🥰

TEEKO - he's a sweet little senior dog (10) and most people are looking for younger 😔
OTTO - loves people but we're finding his Highness really likely needs to be the only pet in the home and get ALL the attention. He gives as good as he gets, though! 👑
JERIMOO - she's deaf but lives a perfectly happy life! 🔇
OREO - he can slip a cracked door like nobody's business! 💨 but so far stops when called
COOPER & MURPHY, bonded seniors - they need to find someone willing to take them BOTH because they're a package deal (but both great with everyone!) 💕
MOCHA - can be suspicious of men with hats 🤠 at first
SKY - only reason she's not adopted yet is because she was just listed yesterday 😁
WILL - he's good with everyone but needs a fenced yard bc he's not gotten comfortable walking on a leash yet (has always been in a fenced yard home) 🐶
BUDDY - this poor guy has some anxiety and lots of things make him off-kilter; he shouldn't be in an apartment because he can be a barker when he's worked up, but he's the biggest lover! He's started some meds and is improving but still would def be categorize as an anxious dog. 🫠

2.5 month old Great Pyr maybe Aussie Shep mix? Super nice puppies with great temperaments - playful, fun, snuggly, and they love everyone! These pups will need more exercise than most dogs all through their life, but will be perfect for the right family. They also should be large as adults, we're guessing 60-80 Ibs based on parents, who are getting fixed so no more puppies.
But these 3 girls are vetted to age and just beautiful - we think one of them may be hearing impaired, but that's totally manageable and we can talk to any interested applicants about ways to work with that.

Urgent - great news but we need help for this old guy to get the surgery he has finally been cleared medically to get!

Several months ago we received a plea from a local advocate that this “Chihuahua” was very sick and likely needed to be euthanized. We had another appointment and we took him along looking to see if it was truly the end. Surprisingly the vet said even tho his bloodwork was awful and he was not in good shape to get his tumor removed - that there was hope with proper care that he would recover enough to get the tumor removed

A week or so ago the vet announced he was healthy enough to undergo tumor removal and a dental. They also just told us we can get it tomorrow!! We have had some major vet costs and need your help to raise the 1000$ for the tumor and dental (see attached tumor estimate - dental estimate is 200-500)

🥰 SOS - foster needed immediately for 2 BONDED senior SMALLS

These two neutered 10 year olds' owner has to surrender them due to some medical issues (of the human) and feels they really need to stay together and are bonded. Both are friendly, good with other dogs and cats, housetrained, etc.

Please reach out if you can help - we're still dealing with the well-earned but dreaded (for us) vacations of SO many of our fosters, and have no one available to take both, and they need out ASAP. Family is stepping in to check in for now short-term, but they need out. We can provide all food and supplies needed to foster. Or, foster-to-adopt available, which would give you first shot to get to know these handsome guys and first shot at adoption once they're caught up on vetting.

Help us take them in and get them ready for their next chapter, their retirement years, in a new loving home. ❤️

Update

The 4 puppies taken from the bad situation on N Clinton are doing amazing

They have put on weight from intake

We are still trying to fundraise as they will need full vetting once healthy
Collab with BUDDY LOVE DOG RESCUE
Mouse - the black one is only 3.8 lbs and has hairloss over the body

Squirrel the sable couldn’t walk and has a very greasy coat

Weasel has every rib showing and is under 4 lbs too

Chipmunk the girl is 8 lbs and is the only one who is close to a decent weight for her body
