Now that weโve finally had a second to breathe after Saturday, I think itโs safe to say:
Our 3rd Annual Pinkleball Fundraiser was an amazing success ๐๐
The courts were FULL all afternoon with people learning pickleball for the first time (including myself. I now know what a Kitchen is, and what it means to be Pickled ๐), kids running around, tournament teams getting surprisingly intense in the best way, and so many people showing up to support us.
A few highlights from the day:
๐ Our tournament tickets completely sold out
๐ We raised over $2,400 โ about $400 more than last year
๐ Local businesses filled our raffle tables with amazing donations
๐ The URMC 'Mammovan' joined us on site to offer preventative testing
๐ 13 WHAM News featured the fundraiser on the evening news
๐ Rochester showed up in the best way possible
๐ A LOT of people discovered they may actually like pickleball ๐

We loved seeing so many local businesses, families, and community members come together for something meaningful. The whole event truly felt like one big community effort from start to finish.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, shared the event, contributed raffle baskets, or supported us behind the scenes. Events like this allow us to continue the work we do through BCCP, and we couldnโt do it without you.

Also, as a professional photographer, I feel I must apologize for the lack of professional photos from the event ๐ Apparently running an event AND taking photos at the same time is where my multitasking abilities officially fall apart. Iโve learned my limits!
