We're really excited to announce that The University of Rochester Medical Center Mobile Mammogram Unit (aka the Mammovan) will be on-site at our Pickleball Fundraiser this year!

Which means this:
You can show up…
have fun…
support an incredible cause…
all while taking care of your own health as well!

No more putting it off to a later date that never happens, and actually Getting. It. Done!

Outside of your regular screening, this unit can also evaluate:
✨ Breast cancer
✨ Breast infections + inflammation
✨ Common lumps + fibrocystic changes
✨ Ni**le concerns + discharge
✨ Phyllodes tumors

🎀 Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness Day 🎀

🎀 3/3 is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness Day 🎀

Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive form of breast cancer that accounts for 10–20% of diagnoses. It's called “triple negative” because the cancer cells do not have three common receptors - estrogen, progesterone, or HER2 - that many modern treatment options are designed to target. This means that treatment plans often include rigorous chemotherapy and other carefully selected approaches.

TNBC can sometimes grow and spread more quickly than other forms of breast cancer, which makes early detection and timely treatment especially important. Ongoing research continues to expand options and improve outcomes.

Today, we raise awareness, honor those navigating a TNBC diagnosis, and continue advocating for education, research, and support 💗
