Richmond Ruff House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving Richmond, VA and the surrounding counties. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs from animal control and public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding and overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse

or neglect by providing them with temporary shelter for the purpose of finding permanent suitable new homes.

🚨 VOLUNTEER FOSTER NEEDED ASAP🚨
Rocky needs a new volunteer foster home, as his current foster family is moving out of the area 😢😢 He has been an absolute AMAZING boy! He is 2 years old, utd on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He is great with other dogs and kids! Cats are unknown. He knows several commands, is house trained and crate trained. You just don't get much better than this. And the freckles...ohmygoodness gracious those freckles!! 😍 While he is also available for adoption, we have an immediate need to find him a more permanent foster home. Meet Roach. He is a 1yr old male beagle. He is great with all ages of kids but would do better with older kids as he needs more firmness when it comes to correcting behaviors. He does great with other dogs, hasn’t been around cats. He is up to date on vaccines and is neutered and microchipped. He is extremely playful and wants someone who can give him all of the attention and energy. He is potty trained and has gone through some beginner training classes for basic commands. He is so smart and will learn fast with consistency. He is still a puppy so his chewing is going full force so he needs someone who can supervise him and help correct his behavior and give him enriching activities. He’s very active and would love an active household/family. He’s a hound so he can be a barker at times but then he’ll melt you with that sweet howl. He’s such a sweet baby and deserves the very best home with people who will give him all of their love with none to spare!! Please contact 760-662-8739 if interested.
