Today, at VMA Member Quick’s Bus in Staunton, VA, the State Police conducted thorough inspections at their garage to ensure the safety and reliability of our vehicles. Quicks is committed to providing top-notch service, and these inspections help them maintain the highest standards. A big shoutout to Varsity Travel from Wi******er, VA, for joining Quicks in this important process. Together, VMA members are dedicated to ensuring the safety of their passengers on the road. Thank you to the State Police for their partnership and support!

It’s the last day of the Virginia Motorcoach, North Carolina Motorcoach Association 2025 regional meeting in Winston-Salem North Carolina and all of us from the staff wish to thank everybody that attended as well as all of our fantastic sponsors. The meeting was off to a great start and ended with a bang and we certainly hope to see all of you next year in Richmond, Virginia at the Virginia Crossings more information will follow on that so Watch your emails save the date and we hope to have as well attendance next year as we’ve got this year again, thank everybody and safe travels home .

Our first educational session at the VMA/NCMA 2025 Regional Meeting in Winston Salem, NC, "Meeting of the Motorcoach Minds – From Spark to Embark," facilitated by industry leaders Chris Cavanaugh from Magellan Strategy Group and Melissa Jones from Christian Tours/Burke International Tour is a unique opportunity that allows attractions, DMOs, and hotel groups to collaborate with tour planners. We’ll brainstorm innovative tour content, build compelling itineraries, and enhance group tour culture. This interactive session is designed to create winning partnerships for everyone involved. A perfect chance to ignite ideas and embark on a growth journey together! 🌟

We’re off to a great start at our breakfast event this morning at the NCMA/VMA 2025 Regional Meeting at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, NC, proudly sponsored by Cardinal Coach and Daimler Coaches of North America! Thank you to Vance Hoover, NCMA President, for presiding over this session. This event included insightful industry updates from Ken Presley of the United Motorcoach Association and Lew Myers from the American Bus Association. In addition, Virginia Motorcoach Association awarded Bill Torres with DC Trails. The Robert T Mitchell public service award was established in 1968 by Harrison Kahn legal council for the VBA ( now VMA) Mr Mitchell was very astute and creative gentleman and represented the Alexandria Baltimore Bus Lines as well as the Virginia Bus Association now Virginia Motorcoach Association as a highly effective lobbyist for the VBA in Richmond and Washington. He was responsible for many positive state and federal law changes The Robert T Mitchell service award is presented each year to an outstanding person in the Motorcoach industry and this year‘s recipient is VMA Member, Bill Torres with DC Trails. Congratulations Bill job well
