In honor of our nation’s military community—and just one day after Veterans Day— Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is inviting you and your family to help celebrate the opening of its newest resort in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
Join us for a LIVE Good Morning America broadcast, then stay and enjoy a full day in Kalahari Virginia’s brand-new indoor waterpark.
EVENT SCHEDULE
6 AM • ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
Please arrive wearing your bathing suit and a cover-up. Full coverage required; one-piece swimsuits preferred for women and swim trunks preferred for men.
6:15–7:15 AM • COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST
7:30-10:30 AM • GOOD MORNING AMERICA LIVE
Join fellow military families in the waterpark for GMA’s live Grand Opening broadcast - with exclusive access to the park before it opens to the public.
10:30 AM-8 PM • WATERPARK FUN
Stay and enjoy complimentary waterpark access through close.
PLUS: A SPECIAL RETURN STAY
The first 300 eligible families to register and check in will receive one voucher per family for a complimentary future overnight stay in a Double Queen Sofa room, which sleeps up to six guests and includes waterpark admission.
Upgrades to larger room types may be available for the difference in rate. Expiration dates, blackout dates, taxes, resort fees and other restrictions may apply.
ABOUT KALAHARI VIRGINIA
Located just off I-95, the new resort is home to Virginia’s largest indoor waterpark, spanning more than 175,000 square feet and featuring more than 50 water attractions for families to explore.
Beyond the waterpark, Kalahari Virginia brings the brand’s signature all-under-one-roof family getaway experience to the region, with overnight accommodations, dining, entertainment and more.
REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 4PM ON OCTOBER 28 AND WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED FOLLOWING THE DEADLINE AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESPOND.
IMPORTANT
This event will be filmed and photographed and will include a live national television broadcast. By attending, guests acknowledge that they and members of their party may appear in event photography, video and broadcast coverage. Additional appearance releases may be required at check-in. Parents or legal guardians must provide any required consent for minors.
Guests should wear swimwear and bring any personal items needed for the day.
Winners will be notified as tickets are received and instructions and deadlines to respond(usually 24 hours as time allows) will be included in the email.
Eligibility: Open to all Active-duty, Reserve, and Guard service members and their families with valid military ID.
*ONE ENTRY PER FAMILY PER EVENT DATE* - If there is multiple dates, you may sign up for more than one date. Name must match your military ID. Those who register more than once for an event/date will be removed from the selection pool.
