🐾 LOCAL TEAMS. LOCAL TAILS. | GIVING BACK AT THE GRAVY CUP
The Gravy Cup is about more than bringing people together to play floorball. It’s also an opportunity to do something good for the community that supports us.
This Thanksgiving, Richmond Floorball Club is continuing our Local Teams, Local Tails initiative by collecting pet food and essential supplies during our 3rd Annual Gravy Cup 3v3 Tournament on Saturday, November 21.
This year’s collection will support Goochland Pet Lovers and the Goochland County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.
Goochland Pet Lovers already does meaningful work in our community, helping families care for their pets through its Good Neighbor Outreach Program, organizing pet food drives, and supporting animals at the county shelter.
Rather than starting something separate, we want to use our tournament to help strengthen the work they’re already doing.
❤️ HOW YOU CAN HELP
We’re asking players, families, spectators, and anyone in the Richmond and Goochland communities to consider bringing a donation.
For local pets and families:
* Dog food
* Cat food
Pet food donations will support Goochland Pet Lovers’ Good Neighbor Outreach Program, helping families provide for the pets they love.
For the animals at the shelter:
* Clean blankets and towels
* Paper towels
* Cleaning wipes
* Laundry detergent
* Puppy pads
These everyday supplies help support the care, comfort, and daily needs of animals at the Goochland County Animal Shelter & Adoption Center.
🐾 WHEN & WHERE

The Gravy Cup 3v3 Floorball Tournament
The Annex | 7505 Ranco Road, Henrico, VA
You do not need to be participating in the tournament to donate. Anyone who wants to stop by, contribute something, or enjoy a little floorball is welcome.
If you’d prefer to make a monetary contribution, you can also support Goochland Pet Lovers directly at www.goochlandpetlovers.com.
We’re grateful for the people and organizations who dedicate their time to helping animals and the families who love them.
If our floorball community can help make their work a little easier this Thanksgiving, that’s something worth coming together for.
Local Teams. Local Tails. One Community.
