We had such a great time at our October Lazy Susan workshops! Everyone brought their own creativity to the table, and we love seeing how each project turned out a little differently.

Not every cut has to be a straight line.

That’s one of the things we love about a jigsaw.

Unlike a circular saw, a jigsaw allows you to make gradual turns and follow curves as you cut.

But there’s a little more to it than just pulling the trigger!

In this video, Shana walks you through some of the basics, including how to keep the foot flat, control your cutting path, and make adjustments if you start getting off your line.

And if you’ve never picked up a jigsaw before, that’s okay!

At Women’s Workshop Richmond, you’ll get hands-on experience with power tools, learn how to use them, and build your skills through practice.

🚨👉Our FINAL workshop registration of 2026 is officially OPEN!

And we're wrapping up the year with a holiday build! 🎄⛄

This month, you'll be creating a three-piece wooden holiday decor set, complete with two adorable snowmen and a rustic Christmas tree!

You'll get to add your own creative touches to make a festive display you can bring out year after year.

Where could you display your holiday creations?

🎄 Dress up your mantel, shelf, or entryway table.
🏠 Add some holiday cheer to your covered front porch.
🎁 Give the whole set as a handmade gift (if you can bear to part with it!).
✨ Mix the pieces into your existing Christmas decorations for a little extra charm.

And if you've been thinking about trying a Women's Workshop, this is your last chance to join us in the shop this year!

We'll walk you through the project, help you get comfortable with the tools, and teach you the skills you need as you go.

At the end of the afternoon, you'll leave with three holiday decorations you made yourself!
