This years Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 7th at noon. It will proceed on Main Street, from 12th Street to 5th street in downtown Richmond, with a viewing area across from Richmond Civic Theatre.

There's plenty of time to get out to Middlefork Reservoir to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at Family Nature Day! Our free Kids Catch & Release Fishing Derby is going until 3pm, with lots of trophies up for grabs!

Morrisson-Reeves Library and Hill's Pet Nutrition are also here! We are painting gourds, and giving away free popcorn in the Service Center along with snacks, beverages, and discounted boat rentals available for purchase! Come out and see us, it's a beautiful day! ☀️

THIS SATURDAY, 9/26! Bring the family out for a day of exploring, FREE DNR fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors! Compete in our Kids Fishing Derby (ages 3–17), and enjoy guided trail hikes, discounted boat rentals, and loads of family-friendly activities!

Also bring your four-legged family members along for playtime and photos at the Hill's Bark Park!

Onsite registration for the Kids Fishing Derby will start at 12pm! Morrisson-Reeves Library and Hill’s Pet Nutrition will also be there with great reads and treats!
