The Pink Ribbon Awareness campaign is Sisters’ national faith-based educational outreach program that reaches women in church and religious organizations providing information and resources. We visit an area congregation each month and eagerly seek and attend health-related programs. Our Gift for Life Block Walk is an annual event held on the 4th Saturday of September. We collaborate with organiza

tions and community groups to promote breast health awareness in an under-served community. On the specified date, breast cancer survivors partner with volunteers and canvas door-to-door to distribute breast health education brochures, resource information, and pink ribbons.

Sunday, May 24th, was another purpose filled day. We had the opportunity to fellowship with Jerusalem Baptist Church and the Pastor delivered wonderful sermon. We had the privilege to address the congregation and have 1 on 1 conversations about breast health, mammograms & self examinations.

Pink Ribbon Alert!! We had a wonderful morning of worship with the Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church for their Women’s Day celebration. Service was awesome! We had the opportunity to speak to the congregation and educate about breast health. Each Pink Ribbon increases awareness.
