Founded in 2002, the Massey Alliance YP Board supports & raises awareness for Massey Cancer Center That puts us in the top 4 percent.

The Massey Alliance is a group of young professionals dedicated to supporting the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Through volunteerism, community outreach and fundraising, the Alliance expresses its strong support for the people and programs at Massey. VCU Massey Cancer Center is one of just 69 cancer centers out of 1,500 nationwide designated by the National Cancer Institute to help lead and shape our

Last week, Alliance Board members and a sold-out audience of 400 supporters gathered at The Jefferson Hotel for the 31st annual Women and Wellness Luncheon, presented by Primis to support VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Keynote speaker, Olympic athlete and cancer survivor Chaunté Lowe offered a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of our community, having a “champion mindset” and the power of health self-advocacy.

Massey Alliance Board members attended Massey’s Innovator’s Forum at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

The Innovator’s Forum celebrates the trailblazing research and patient-centered care at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. It brings together thought leaders and supporters to spotlight advancements that are redefining cancer treatment and inspiring hope.

The event included the Brushstrokes of Discovery Community Engagement Mural Project. A community mural celebrating the partnership between cancer patients and scientists.

Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and VCU partnered to create this vibrant, traveling mural, The Brushstrokes of Discovery, as a tribute to the vital role of dedicated patients and tissue donation in advancing cancer research.
