Bernadette (2 years) and Guinevere (1 year) are ready to come home to loving families, as well as their neighbors who are also up for adoption. Open adoption hours are on Saturdays 12-4 (though times may vary,) but PM for a meet and greet if you’d like to see one of these beautiful kitties sooner!

Meet Bambi - naming her that because a tiny little fawn ran out in front of my car right as I got to the driveway where I was picking her up last night. Hello Friends 🙂 Just want to provide an update on Nala, and sincerely thank everyone who has sent donations, shared my post, shown me kindness, and supported LiFELINE in any way, shape, or form recently It really has filled my heart with gratitude. I love how people and this community come together for a common goal. The donations weren’t quite enough to cover hospitalization but I’m still working towards that goal. My friend Vella Portis Osborne set up a GoFund Me campaign - so very sweet. Friends I went to high school with even showed up with unexpected donations. I am beyond blessed by you all. Every dollar counts.

Nala isn’t out of the woods yet, she showed some improvement and I was feeling hopeful that we were on the right track, but this evening her energy is low again and her chest congestion seems deep. I’ve been doing the oral antibiotics, sub q fluids (learned that from Denise by volunteering at Operation Catnip), nebulizer treatments, and coupage (this really helps a lot, btw), and keeping a humidifier close to her. How I know she isn’t feeling great…yesterday she fought like crazy when I did anything - today she just let me do whatever, with no real fight. I’m setting my alarm for every couple of hours to continue treatments.

I’ll provide another update tomorrow and pics. Good night 💕

Urgent request for assistance. I’m not going to be able to pull the funds together, not even close.

I don’t even know what to say about this…
Nala had what we thought was just a URI - but it has developed into pneumonia. I was able to get scratchpay to cover the urgent care bill but definitely don’t have enough $ to cover hospitalization, which is now the recommendation.

I still have the gray cat that was supposed to just be a simple TNR that probably had an embedded collar I’m trying to help and so many spay/neuter appointments scheduled already.
