We would like to officially welcome our new advisors!

Michelle Jones will be helping us with fundraising! Whatever Michelle does, she puts her whole heart into it. She has a way of bringing people together and getting them excited to make a difference. We know she will be an integral part of Nick’s Round Table, and we’re so grateful to have her.

Molly Stammel is training to become our Hope Bag advisor next year. Her son and daughter have been volunteering for a year now, and they’re only in middle school! Molly is the definition of someone who gives back to her community, and it’s wonderful to see that same kindness in her children.

Thank you both for sharing your time, your ideas and your hearts with us. Officially welcome to Nick’s Round Table! ❤️🖤🙏🏻

First Round Table of the year! The teens assembled Hope Bags, pumpkins and crafts for the Melodies Center.

Each Hope Bag includes a card written by a teen, and this is one of the most rewarding parts to watch. They take it so seriously and put so much heart into their words and artwork. They know that a little encouragement can mean so much to someone going through a difficult time. Check out their artwork and thoughtful messages! Our Hope Bags are more than just items > it’s knowing that people truly care and that you’re not alone.

We have a new teen leadership team who brought in new volunteers and a fresh set of ideas. I’m excited to see what this year brings!

Next month is our Sock Drive! Please bring new, cozy socks to our meeting on November 3rd to include in our Hope Bags.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to the Clifton Park YMCA for generously providing space for us each month. We are so grateful! ❤️🖤🙏🏻

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 💛

Childhood cancer affects kids and families in ways that go far beyond a diagnosis. We want to help bring more awareness to it and do what we can in our own community.

Nick’s Round Table is working to make a difference through fundraisers, events, awareness, and supporting local families.

Our Hope Bag BINGO + Raffle fundraiser was filled with positive energy, generous hearts, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Because of this incredible community, we raised approximately $4,000 to help provide Hope Bags for local children receiving treatment at Albany Med’s Melodies Center.

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing from Mary Beth Nichols, who reminded us just how much these bags mean to the children and families who receive them. More than a bag of items, they’re a reminder that an entire community is standing behind them.

We are especially proud of our teen volunteers, whose compassion, creativity, and commitment to helping others continue to make a difference in the lives of local families.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this event. We had so much fun and are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

A special thank you to Molly Popp’s Flower Shop for the beautiful floral arrangements that helped make the room feel so welcoming, and to Elizabeth Fox Photography for generously donating her time and talent to capture these memories.

Together, we’re bringing hope to local families when they need it most. ❤️🖤
